I am asking for your help on behalf of my son, Michael , diagnosed with classic non-verbal autism. Over the last few months he has developed some worrying neurological symptoms, muscular spasms and eye twitches. We kept visiting doctors and specialists, running some necessary tests.
We were then advised to consider another treatment, which would involve stimulating certain areas of the scalp with needles (Neuro-Acupuncture). This method of healing combines the ancient Eastern practice of acupuncture with Western neuroscience; successfully treating patients with MS, Cerebral Palsy, Stroke, Autism and Paralysis.
We need funds by the 13th of October, in order to reserve our place in this program, which will take place in Santa Fe, NM.
Your contribution, no matter what amount, would grately help Michael get into the program and receive 3-4 necessary treatments, that could potentially reduce the level of anxiety and muscle tension, stimulate certain areas of the brain responsible for speech and language, as well as fine and gross motor skills. These doctors have huge success rate treating and curing patients with all kinds of neurological disorders.
We would not ask for your help, if we had other ways to raise this amount or if we had more time. The program starts on October 21st, but we need to confirm our participation by the end of this week. Our personal circumstances have not been easy, as we have moved from overseas and start ourlives over, from scratch. At this point, we count on your understanding and support.
