Martin’s Recovery

My name is Skye and I’ve started this campaign on behalf of my step-father, Martin Lagewaard, and mother, Shannon Teague. He has suffered a massive stroke on the right side of his brain. He has lost the use of his left arm and his left leg is very weak. It’s hard to know the extent of the damage but it has affected his emotions causing him to cry very easily. Martin is normally the calm, collected man who can do anything and diffuse any situation. He has been the rock of my family but now he needs us to be there for him. He doesn’t have health insurance but with this campaign I’m hoping to supplement his income to help my family keep the home they just moved into this past October.
