Maria Bedoy

My name is Brittany Hamilton. I will have linked to this account Dania Oxley, the daughter of Maria Bedoy. Maria, on Friday, September 29th was in a horrible head on collision along with her granddaughter Gisselle. While neither of the vehicles were at fault but the vehicle that caused them to collide that fled the scene , it caused serious injuries to both of them . Maria was intubated on Friday and just extubated this evening, on Monday . She has a spinal , neck , and wrist fracture. She has a large hematoma and has had three surgeries on her belly . She was flown from Yuma Regional Medical Center to Banner University in Phoenix, AZ where they’ve already placed a colostomy bag and will continue to do multiple surgeries which will result in her being re-intubated once her labs and vitals are more stable . Gisselle has had surgery on her wrist and is in back brace due to fractured discs in her back. So please pray for Gisselle as she will go through some surgeries and extensive physical therapy. Her family will have a lot of expenses ahead and I’m asking you for two things. One please pray for Maria as she is a strong and faithful woman.
