Study Abroad in Israel

Hello everyone! My name is Xander, and I am a student at Oral Roberts University. This coming summer I am going to be doing a study abroad in Israel. I plan to go into ministry and this trip will be extremely helpful in my understanding of the Bible and preparation for ministry.
The total cost of the trip is $5,386.
However, I need to raise $1100 by January 12th so I can purchase my plane ticket.

The Israel Study Abroad is offered through a consortium agreement between ORU and Jerusalem University College (JUC). The JUC course that I will take this summer (May 14-June 3, 2018) is an academic study of the land of the Bible. Unlike traditional tours of Israel, this course helps students to place biblical events in their geographical, historical and cultural setting. It offers a unique approach that JUC has developed over the last five decades through on-site study of Land of Israel, serving graduate students, seminarians, undergraduate students, ministers and individuals. Most of the coursework will be done on location where events in the Bible took place. Prior map work will provide the necessary context for fieldwork. Because day-long and overnight field trips include sustained hiking over sometimes very rugged terrain, participants must be in excellent physical condition. This program has impacted many students who have made it a highlight of their Christian college or seminary training.
