Die Geschichte meines Papa's und sein unfassbarer Kampf zurück ins Leben 

Im Juni 2025 wurde unser Leben durch die Diagnose Leukämie erschüttert. Was dann folgte, ist kaum in Worte zu fassen: Nur eine Woche nach der ersten Chemo erlitt er eine schwere Blutvergiftung und eine Lungenentzündung. Sein Körper war so schwach, dass er in ein künstliches Koma versetzt werden musste. 

Während dieser Zeit kämpfte er mehrfach um sein Leben und überstand unfassbare vier Herzstillstände. Als wäre das nicht genug, entwickelte sich am linken Bein eine nekrotisierende Fasziitis, die eine Amputation unumgänglich machte. Doch auch das Schicksal des verbliebenen Beins ist schwer gezeichnet: Durch eine ausgeprägte Polyneuropathie hat er dort jegliches Gefühl verloren. Er kann nicht mehr laufen und ist erstmal dauerhaft auf den Rollstuhl angewiesen. 

Das Problem: Unser Zuhause ist aktuell ein Gefängnis 

Wir wohnen in einem alten Fachwerkhaus, und was früher unser gemütliches Heim war, ist nun unüberwindbar geworden. Die Flure sind zu eng, die Schwellen zu hoch und das Badezimmer liegt im 2. Stock wo er nicht hochkommt. Mit dem normalen Rollstuhl ist es aktuell unmöglich, das Haus überhaupt zu verlassen. In einem Altbau wie unserem bedeutet jede Türschwelle und jede enge Ecke eine unüberwindbare Barriere. Ohne massive bauliche Veränderungen kann Andi nicht am Leben teilhaben – er ist in den eigenen vier Wänden gefangen. 

Unser Ziel: 20.000 € für den Umbau 

Damit Andi wieder ein Stück Freiheit zurückbekommt, müssen wir dringend handeln. Die Kosten für den Umbau (Bad, Türverbreiterungen und eine spezielle Rampenlösung für den Altbau) übersteigen unsere Mittel bei weitem. Trotz aller aller Zuschüssekönnenwires alleine nicht stemmen. 

Jeder Euro hilft dabei, die Enge des Fachwerkhauses zu durchbrechen und Andi ein barrierefreies Leben zu ermöglichen.
