<a href="http://hhaae.org" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">hhaae.org</a>  The Hip Hop Association of Advancement and Education’s mission is to support those who use Hip Hop to empower their communities. Part of this mission includes amplifying how Hip Hop culture empowers people with perceived physical challenges. We are asking for your support to provide Bboy Zulu Rema with much needed new below-the-knee prosthetic limbs.  Ameur (Bboy Zulu Rema) lives in Tunisia, Africa, and has limited options for receiving new high-quality lower extremity prosthetic limbs.  We are also asking for your support to provide Hip Hop workshops to children with perceived physical limitations, co-led by a Bboy named Zulu Rema.  With your help in reaching our goal of $25,000, we can do the following: *Provide Zulu Rema with TWO new below-the-knee prosthetics, TWO new sockets for his prosthetics, and FOUR liners and additional components.   *Lodging while Zulu Rema is fitted in his new prosthetics.  *Flight for Zulu Rema from Tunisia to Grand Rapids, Michigan. *Facilitate Hip Hop workshops for youth/young adults with perceived physical limitations, co-led by Zulu Rema free of charge for youth/young adult participants. This will take place as soon as it is safe to engage in in-person events in light of the COVID-19 pandemic and when the funds are raised to provide all that we have laid out above. The fabrication of new prosthetic limbs is an involved process that requires limb castings, test sockets, trial periods, and re-fabrication of the definitive prosthetic limbs.  This takes time, a great deal of expertise, and hard work from a team of prosthetic specialists to complete. Bboy Zulu Rema is a powerful example of how the element of breakin' (breakdancing) has provided him with an identity that exceeds what most "able-bodied" individuals could ever dream of.  He is an inspiration to many across the world, and we are asking for your help to support him on his journey.  But we need your help to provide prosthetics to Zulu Rema and offer this camp free of charge to children with different abilities!
