Kim Needs Our Help

Kim was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma Esophageal Cancer in April of 2021 and after a few hurdles, she was able to start and complete her first round of Chemo and Radiation. The course of treatment was extremely hard on her, but she had no interruptions in her care thanks to the help and love of her friends and family. Most importantly she and her husband were able to focus on her care without worrying about the immense financial burden that goes along with caring for Cancer.

While planning for surgery to remove the tumor she received the news that the Cancer had spread to her femur and several other spots in her bone. She started a new course of Chemo at the end of October and is currently fighting hard and maintaining her good spirits as best as possible. However, she is again facing the overwhelming task of her insurance year resetting and again having to pay for her care out of pocket. Kim and her husband are unable to cover the expense of this fight alone and need as much help as possible to ensure they have the resources to meet the demands of her care financially until they have met their max yearly out of pocket. Their only hope is that she can continue her fight without any financial delays to her care.

There is little doubt that Kim will beat this horrible disease and one day can share her journey with others who are facing the same fight. Anything you may be able to donate would be a blessing to Kim, her husband Joe, and the kids in this very tough time.
