Chiara Chavez for Desperado Darling 2024

Hey everyone,

I hope this message finds you well! I'm reaching out because I'm raising funds for the United Services Organization (USO), dedicated to supporting veterans and their families. As a student at Florida State University, the military holds a special place in my heart, thanks to my grandfather who bravely served during World War II. It's a privilege to contribute to a cause that honors not only my country but also my grandfather and all those who've served since.

I'm thrilled about the fun and exciting fundraisers I have planned for this week February 18th- February 24th! Despite being part of a competition, I see it as an opportunity to have fun with friends while supporting a cause close to home.

I'm incredibly grateful to the brothers of the Theta Chi chapter for nominating me to represent my chapter, Delta Gamma. Within Theta Chi, I have found a second family, filled with remarkable men who have welcomed me with open arms and shown me nothing but kindness and respect. This fraternity has become a safe space for me, and the memories we have made are ones that I will cherish forever.

Thank you all for this opportunity, and I hope you'll consider joining me in supporting this incredible cause. Whether you're a friend, family member, or a kind stranger who wants to make a difference, your contribution – big or small – will help us reach our goal!

Fundraising kicks off on February 18th and runs through the 24th. Let's make a difference together and have fun doing it!
