Stairlift for Jerry DiNicola

Hello to all of my Father's friends, family, & whoever may stumble upon this page. For those of you that know me, I am Allina DiNicola, Jerry's 25 year old daughter. I recently moved back home in efforts to help my Dad as his Multiple Sclerosis worsens. It's come to the point where my Dad is in the need of a Stair-glide as it's becoming extremely DANGEROUS for him to ambulate up and down the stairs on his own. He has also been recently diagnosed with osteoporosis, so, the last thing we need is a serious fall. Luckily, the falls in the last few months resulted in no injuries BUT that is still not acceptable. The estimate my Dad received for a stairlift is $10,230. The Multiple Sclerosis Society will/should present my father with a $2,000 grant, YAY! Still leaving him with $8,000 to come up with. My goal is to raise $5,000. Anything less or even anything more would be more than helpful. I hate to have to do this but I think it's our only chance to bettering my Dad's quality of life.
