Knee Surgery for Enzo

My son Enzo is 15 years old and he dislocated his right knee playing basketball. The damage are:

1. ACL Rupture;

2. Posterolateral corner sprain injury;

3. Tear of the anteroinferior popliteomeniscal fascicle;

4. Radial tear at the junction of the posterior body segment and posterior horn of the medial (meniscus tear);

5. Bone marrow oedema/contusion of the posterior tibial plateau bilaterally (damage to a deeper area of bone).

Due to the severity of the injuries, Enzo needs to do the surgery as soon as possible to prevent against arthrosis in early age. The surgery itself will cost me 13,500 dollars.

I am a single mother and i work as a sale assistant in a department store. I don't receive any child support and I work hard to provide the best i can for my son, but i can not afford to pay for the surgery - and I don’t have health insurance.

As a mother, i am struggling to see my son going through such a severe injurie that will impact his life if it's not resolved soon. Enzo is a very active boy but he can not do any activity because it can further damage his knee. He is missing out so much in his life and already showing signs of depression.
