Lauren's Journey

There aren't too many of my 'adult' memories without this girl, Lauren Hendrix (Blackwelder), involved in one way or another.  From basic training, to deployments, weddings, to babies.....she has always had my back and many of those in our circle.  Well, this time it's our turn to have her back.  My dear friend Lauren has been suffering from Crohn's Disease for the better part of two decades.  This past year, as many of you know, she has had tremendous problems with this disease.  Hospital visits, surgeries, and more hospital visits have taken this beautiful woman away from her family, her children, and her friends.  While Lauren has been in and out of the hospital, her sweet husband Jonathan has taken over all of the duties of not only provider but of household six.  With that being said, he's been by her side non-stop and has loved her and those babies with every ounce of his time and energy.  Let's help out our battle, people.  Bills still need to be paid and if we could just take one more worry away from this wonderful family, then job well done.  Share away!
