Hurricane relief in Panama City
Donation protected
Hello, generous donor.
Tara Teibel here. As you probably know, I lived in Panama City for 6 years, and just moved from there in the beginning of July. Let me be honest. It was never a perfect place. However, I was lucky enough to make friends with an AMAZING family.
The Halletts came into our lives in 2016. Kate and Aine were classmates. I met Kate’s Mom, Ashley, and very quickly knew that she would be a lifelong friend. She’s on the level of a Culver friend— a bond forever.
Now the hurricane has devastated Panama City. In an honest first response, Ashley said, “Whatever you are seeing, it’s worse than that. The town is gone.” She is telling it like it is.
Please donate to directly help them, and their 3 kiddos. 100% of what you can give will go directly to them, unlike donations to other charities that have large operating costs. Ashley, Ryan, Kate, Jack, and Clarke are some of the best people I have ever had the privilege of knowing. They have helped me immensely in times of need.
Today they have made the decision that they must go to Jacksonville, 4 hours east of Panama City. This decision was made due to the lack of electric, water, gas, cellular, and food in Panama City. Temporary shelter in another city will quickly become very expensive.
If you can help me to help them, your generosity will get you into heaven. Just kidding, but you get my point. In the face of complete destruction and devastation, any help that you can give, even one dollar, will make such a huge difference.
Thank you for considering my friends. They really are great people that could use a little help.
