We are raising money to help the Schmitt family during this time of crisis. We appreciate your to help ease the burden of Mike’s loss of income, medical bills, and funeral expenses.
Seven year old Jackson was admitted to the PICU at Children’s Hospital on Sunday, July 14th after experiencing severe head and leg pain. (This came just 6 days after Carrie delivered a healthy surrogate baby!)
Jackson was found to have suffered several strokes; doctors also discovered a tumor in his leg above the knee, and a clot in the mitral valve in his heart. Over the next several days doctors worked to stabilize him and relieve the pressure on his brain.
Jackson left the pain of this earthly world to be with Jesus on Saturday, July 20th.
