Monday the world lost a special lady. Kayla was a beautiful soul, a loving mother of two young daughters, a dedicated wife and a special friend.
Kayla and her family didn’t have a lot, but they were always there to welcome others and share whatever they had with anyone in need. Without exception those who experienced their graciousness and Kayla’s smile became a member of the family.
Two years ago, Kayla experienced a life changing illness that affected her motor skills, but in her usual fashion, she worked hard to make a 75% recovery. She carried on making the best of her life with her family.
Two weeks ago, Kayla was again struck with a medical emergency. She arrived at the ER and was immediately admitted to the hospital, by the next morning she had slipped into a coma. For those two weeks her husband, family members and friends stood at her bedside encouraging her to fight, but Kayla never regained consciousness.
Monday, Kayla just couldn’t stay any longer. With her loved ones at her side, she quietly slipped into the loving arms of our Lord. Her babies are confused and her husband suddenly found himself without his Angel and a single father of their two little girls.
There are funeral expenses and medical bills beyond what was covered by insurance that need to be paid. We would like to ask for your support in any amount you can give. Your gifts will be graciously received by her family.
