On June 21st, 2018 my mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastasized lung cancer. This is her second time dealing with this illness since she had been in remission for two years from her first battle with Stage 3 colon cancer.  
It is a trying time in our lives and as many of you know, this situation puts a strain in every aspect of our lives, especially my mom's.  
We took the initiative to create this page to help my mom focus on her treatment and help her get the care she needs to overcome this disease. 
She has begun receiving chemotherapy (3 different chemo's at once) which really take a toll on her.   We live on this island that is susceptible to hurricanes and other situations  that can cause delay in her treatment which is quite worrisome.   We are taking into consideration sending her to the states to receive her treatment in a timely manner.
This is why we need and ask for your help!  What ever help is received will go towards helping my mom pay the deductibles of her current treatment here in Puerto Rico.  Funds will also help get my mom to the states so that she can get the medical attention she needs to beat this!
