Save Tuna's Life

Tuna's origional owners would have kicked her out of the house after a few months old and left her to fend for herself. We wanted to give her the life and family she deserves, so we took her in and she became a quinticencial part of our hearts and family. The past few days we have noticed her usual hyper mornign routine had simply vanished. Our fuzzy 8 am alarm clock was sleeping until 11am, she stopped being playful and seems to be in pain. As soon as we we were able to we took her to the vet, which happen to be on december 25th. After the vet ran tests and xrays he came back with some answers. He told us she most likely has intussesception (her intestines are all messed up) and the only corse of action is surgery or uthanize her. Unfortunatly for us the surgery can cost between 3-4000$, we are only 22 and living on our own, this is something we canot afford.  The vet gave us the difficulty of putting a price on the life of our kitten Tuna and we can't just give up, and we can't bring ourselves to end her life before she has even had a full year. Please help us make this her first of many christmases and not her only one.
