In 2013 we rescued this timid dachshund who changed our lives. Duke is incredibly smart, loving and handsome, he is the definition of loyal and it would be an understatement to say he is loved. Last month our family was stricken with the heartbreaking news that he would need to have two major surgeries to save his life. This week he had his first surgery to give him immediate comfort after his stomach flipped but Duke still has Perineal Hernia surgery. It’s a matter of life or death for this sweet boy and our family truly need your help with the second surgery. 2020 has taken so many things from us, please don’t let Duke be the next thing, any amount helps.
