Motorcycle Accident

Donation protected
On October 23rd I was out enjoying the day on a ride with my boyfriend. We were traveling on a back road on each of our bikes. The traffic was held up for miles due to a elderly man in a pickup. There were two cars ahead of us. I motioned to my partner to pass, as it was clear. I took the lead and successfully passed the 2 cars then as I approached the final truck it turned left without a turn signal. I did everything to keep control of my bike but only had seconds to react. My bike and I slid foe 19 feet and then flipped upright striking the truck. The next thing I knew was that I couldnt move my legs and Michael locked my helmet in between his knees. My right leg had broken through multiple places through the skin. My right hand was nearly severed off only a flap of skin held my hand on. I also broke my arm in multiple places. As I laid on the ground I lost alot of blood. My partner took off his belt to stop the bleeding. He did everything to keep me calm. I had an ambulance come to assess the damage and they called in a helicopter. I woke up in ICU on the 5th day after 5 surgeries . My Daughter and parents were told my arm was damaged so bad that they thought they were going to need to amputate my arm. My daughter fought hard for me. Days passed and I was released to go home. I spent 3 months in a wheelchair doing in home physical therapy. With in the past few weeks I've worked so hard on my rehabilitation on my own because I knew that I needed to get back to work.
