SaveBalwynRd - Fighting over-development
Donation protected
We are fighting over-development in a residential heritage precinct in the suburb of Canterbury. Developer wants to demolish part of an historical home to make way for a 7 day Medical Centre and 170 place/3 level Childcare Centre at 14 Balwyn Rd, Canterbury.
We are opposed to the over-development of this site which will lead to increased traffic congestion, safety issues and threat to enjoyment of neighbouring homes. The money raised is to ensure the community is aware of this issue and for the community to be represented at VCAT: expert witnesses and professional advice.
