Urgent need of help!
Our schools, Horizons and Prospect High School, are Alternative Education schools. A lot of our students have struggled in school for many different reasons, but worked really hard to reach their graduation goals.
Unlike the other High Schools in MDUSD, we do not have a PTA to support our school and a lot of our students are from low income families, especially now. This year with the cancellation of Graduation, Prom and any other Senior gatherings, we would like to do something special for our seniors, to celebrate them and all of the hard work it took them to get here.
The other schools PTA's have provided their Seniors with yard signs that say 2020 graduate, Sweat shirts, T-shirts and other swag. We are hoping to raise funds to buy our students each a yard sign and T-shirt.
This is an urgent request because it take a couple of weeks to get the order in, so we are hoping to collect any donations possible by Friday, May 15th.
