Please Help Fund Zooey's Vet Bill

Our dog Zooey was admitted to the ICU last night. The doctors aren't sure exactly what's wrong. She had a fever of 105.4, a low platelet count in her blood work, and extreme swelling of her front left arm. They think it could be any number of things ranging from her elbow callous being infected (and possibly turning septic) to a cancerous tumor that has yet to present itself.

We need your help to pay for Zooey's care. We have already spent $3000 on the initial vet visit and 48 hours in the ICU with IV fluids and antibiotics. However, they need to take more advanced images (CT and radiology scans) to find out exactly what's happening with our little girl. She may also need surgery depending on what the images reveal and how the swelling progresses.

Of course there is never good timing for something like this to happen, but we just moved from Washington, DC to Chicago. Our savings were used up during the move, and now we have to turn to friends, family, and fellow pet lovers for help. We are hoping for the kindness of others and a Holy Week miracle to help save Zooey.
