<div>Ik schrijf dit met een huilend hart en een sprankje hoop. Mijn tante, die al haar hele leven met pijn leeft, Ze heeft nu dringend hulp nodig.

<div>Toen ze nog maar 8 jaar oud was, is ze ernstig gevallen en niet behandeld. Sindsdien is haar leven nooit meer hetzelfde geweest. Ze groeide op met een beschadigd lichaam, kreupelend, met veel pijn, maar ook met enorme veerkracht. Ze bleef doorgaan, ondanks alles. Ze bouwde haar leven op, ondersteunde anderen, en klaagde nooit.

<div>Maar nu is haar situatie verschrikkelijk verslechterd. De klachten zijn zo ernstig toegenomen dat zelfs kreupel lopen niet meer mogelijk is. De schade is doorgeslagen naar haar hele lichaam.  Ze leeft nu in constante pijn, elke beweging is een gevecht, en zonder medische hulp zal ze volledig afhankelijk raken van anderen.

<div>De artsen in Turkije hebben aangegeven dat een operatie noodzakelijk is. Zonder deze ingreep is er geen toekomst meer waarin ze zelfstandig kan functioneren. De kosten van de operatie, de medische behandeling, de revalidatie én de noodzakelijke aanpassingen in haar huis worden echter niet vergoed.
