Zoila Aleman final expenses after death & funeral

My name is Sammy Aleman my mom passed away on 01/01/21 due to complications (heart stopped)from covid-19. It was sudden and truly a shock that this virus ripped through her so quickly. I'm still in shock, heartbroken and devastated. I couldn't even see her before she left us due to covid-19.
She did have funeral insurance but it was barley enough to cover just the funeral costs. She was married too and her husband Armando is in the hospital now as well with covid-19. Sadly, he is now on a ventilator and we are all hoping for the best.
While all of this is heartbreaking, life has to go on and bills have to be paid. Sadly my mom had no savings that i could find. I have had a lot more expenses than I thought outside of just the funeral costs.
I've had many calls, texts, and Facebook messages about how people can help, so this is why i created this go fund me.
This has all been very hard for not only me and my family but for the community as well. My mom knew a lot of people and she helped a lot of people. I mean a lot of people, more than i could ever imagine! She was always full of life and optimistic about almost every situation. Im really gonna miss her, and words escape me to truly capture everything I'm feeling lately.

For those of you who wanted to know if there was going to be a service, say this time there will not be a funeral service due to cost and covid-19. Too many people would show up for the service and I will not be able to able to live with myself if someone got covid-19 from that event. I was planning on having a memorial service via zoom very soon.
My mom wanted to be cremated and scatter her ashes by the tree she would climb in lake geneva. Once it gets warmer, we will be heading up there to do just that. And if things are better with covid-19 every one will be welcomed.
