Zoe McDougall's 2016 WSL QS Tour

Aloha Friends , Family, and Fans of Zoe McDougall ,
January 2016 Zoe turns 16 and this year will be her second full year on the World Surf League (WSL) International Qualifying Series (QS) . She has been training hard and climbing the ranks on the QS series by competing all over the world in 2015 . We have been very grateful for the support received on this site that past two years and could not have done it with out this assistance . Yet, she continues to need some additional help .
For much of Zoe's life it has been a goal to reach the World Surf Leauge Championship World Tour . This is the highest level of pro surfing. The International Qualifying Series ( QS) is the only way to get there and Zoe is youngest in the world to compete full time on the International Qualifying Series and is now in the top 50 internationally . Zoe started her WSL QS endevor in the middel of the 2014 season with a ranking of 0 out of over 250 international surfers. With only a few events in 2014 and a great results in Brazil Zoe climbed to 76 in 2014 at the age of 14. In 2015 with the help of gofundme donations, family , and a two of her sponsors assistance Zoe was able to compete in QS events in China, NewZealand, Europe, Australia , Mexico, and the US mainland. Zoe finished off her first full year # 47 International QS . For her age this is wonderful progress. These valuable points and ranking has earned her valuable seeding into events with higher points for the coming year. Yet, the travel expenses are way beyond the our families income even with the support she receives from sponsors.
With a little help from fans, extended family, and freinds on gofundme Zoe will be able to continue to climb the QS ranks and compete at this level. We are so thankful for all the support Zoe has received in the past and look forward to her continuing towards her goal of reaching the World Surf League Championship Tour. Zoe trains every day in and out of the water while continuing to be a full time student with top grades.
