Zoe Jackson's Medical Fundraiser

In the early 2000s, our dear mother, friend and colleague, Zoe Jackson aka “zoefashionplate” was diagnosed with Lupus which is a chronic autoimmune disease that can damage any part of the body (skin, joints, and/or organs). Instead of sticking to Western medicine, she reached out to local holistic doctors to help her form a plan for recovery. In time, she had the disease under control and continued through life with these values.

In December 2018, Zoe’s health began to take a turn for the worst. Her kidneys shut down which caused her to begin dialysis, she had a major surgery on her colon and intestines which caused her to have a colostomy bag and her legs became non functional for unknown reasons.

For the past 5 months, Zoe has been fighting a long battle to overcome these obstacles, including a new battle with nutrition which has caused her to need a feeding tube in her stomach.

Since she has now turned to Western medicine to help her heal, the Lupus is under control, but she is still needing to heal from all that has happened in the past months. Since there was no medical insurance available, we the family must figure out a way to help pay for medical bills, hospital stays, procedures, etc.

Zoe loves entertainment, events, and fashion and has a great track record of her work in Houston, Texas. She’s built her life around sharing her talents and providing for her two girls, Ciera and Christina. The city of Houston loves Zoe and now more than ever she needs our support.

This goal of $20,000 will go to helping put Zoe in a better care facility and grant her wishes of combining holistic care to achieve her healing goals.
