<div>My name is Amanda Carrillo and I’m reaching out today on behalf of a truly wonderful family who is facing an incredibly difficult moment. They are loving, kind, dedicated, hardworking people who have built their lives here and continue to contribute so much to their community. Unfortunately, they are now confronting serious legal challenges related to immigration—challenges that no family should have to face alone.

<div>We were fortunate enough to get Julio's son, Sebastian, on our DKSC team a few years ago and since then, he has become family to me and Aiden. If you are lucky enough to know Sebastian, you know what a great young man he is and what a wonderful family he comes from. We have been so lucky to make so many incredible memories through soccer with Sebastian and truly become close to the entire Lopez Family.

<div>On November 19th, Julio left his worksite in Brownsville, Texas to travel back to Flower Mound to accompany Sebastian to a college showcase for soccer in Virginia. With his family being the reason for his sacrifices, Julio made it a point to travel back home as often as he could while on this project in Brownsville. He traveled through the same immigration checkpoint as he always did, documents in hand. But unfortunately, ICE had different plans for him that day. He was detained and didn't make it home that day. Carolina has been without her husband and Sebastian and Ava have been without their father for almost a month now. With his upcoming court date, Carolina is hopeful that he will have bail set and will be rejoined with her and their children.

<div>As many of you know, navigating the immigration system is emotionally draining and financially overwhelming. Carolina has had to hire attorneys to help Julio and is fortunate enough to be able to see bail as a hopeful option soon. This family is doing everything in their power to follow the process correctly, protect their stability, and keep their loved ones together, but the financial burden has become too great for them to manage on their own.

<div>We are asking for your help—no matter the amount—to ensure they have access to the legal support they urgently need to bring Julio home. Your contribution will go directly toward attorney fees and essential immigration-related expenses.
