Help for Heather

Hello and thank you for visiting this fundraising page. My name is Stephanie Lewin-Lane and I created this GoFundMe me for my sister Heather Lewin. Heather recently ran into some serious health issues that caused her to have dangerously low oxygen levels resulting in a prolonged hospital stay. In fact, she's still there and the bills are piling up.

If you know my sister, you know that Heather is an accomplished fiddler and singer who makes a living teaching lessons and playing gigs with several bands, mostly in traditional Irish music. Obviously, this medical emergency has kept her from doing either and it will be a while until she can start again.

Heather is meeting with a specialist soon to see what kind of long-term damage there will be, so we don't know how much she'll need yet to be okay financially. I am starting with what she'll need to get through the month. We'll update as we know more.
