Zira's Cancer Fight

It’s with heavy hearts that we’ve learned our sweet pug, Zira, has developed a very rare form of Lymphoma, a cancer of the blood cells & tissue that occurs in canines. She is just 8 years old.

Weeks ago at a regular checkup our veterinarian found a tumor in Zira which resulted in an emergency removal of her spleen. When test results from the removed tumor came back we received the bad news. 

Zira is such a huge part of our lives & has touched the lives of countless friends in the Pug Group community we are heavily involved in. The only thing we can do now is get her the Chemotherapy treatment she needs to help her live the remainder of her life as the cuddly, loving & sometimes crazy ball of energy that she is. 

Unfortunately her surgery costs alone have wiped out all the savings we have & there’s little else we can do on our own. Asking for donations is not something we take lightly & we’ve very much been on the fence about it but we’d do anything in our power for our sweet girl & hope that reaching out to our friends to help us with medical costs might just be enough to give Zira more of the life she deserves.
