The Zionsville Indiana Community High School Band program appreciates the financial support it receives from the school district. However, maintaining and growing the band programs requires additional funding. The Zionsville Band Boosters engage in several fundraising activities to make band accessible to everyone. We are starting a Capital Expense Campaign to raise money for items benefitting all band-related programs such as: • a concert tuba, marching baritones, and crash cymbals • uniform replacement funds, speakers, and music acquisition funds.
This year the band is very fortunate to have an anonymous donor who has offered to match, up to $10,000, any amount we raise for our outstanding band programs.
Any donation is greatly appreciated. For donors who wish to be recognized, name and donation level will be memorialized in the ZCHS band room on our Wall of Fame. We appreciate your support in reaching our goal of $10,000! Remember, any donation made to the band program is tax deductible (in the US). Thank you for supporting the development of these fine young people.

The ZCHS Band Story The Zionsville Community High School band program began when Zionsville was a small, rural Indianapolis suburb. Our current band director, Tom Landrum, has held his position since 2000. During that time, the band program has grown significantly. As the Zionsville community and school district continues to grow, so does our band program! Current classes and extracurricular activities include: three concert bands, two jazz bands, marching band, basketball pep band, indoor percussion, and fall and winter color guard.
Our concert band students perform four concerts each year and participate in ISSMA concert band competitions. Our award-winning jazz bands perform multiple concerts and participate in jazz festivals in the winter. Marching band and color guard students work hard each fall with performances at football games, traveling and hosting marching band competitions, and of course, performing for audiences at the Zionsville Fall Festival, and marching in several community parades. Our basketball pep band entertains crowds at girls and boys basketball games. Indoor percussion and winter guard students are busy performing and perfecting their shows during the winter. This past year, our indoor percussion program continued its tradition of excellence by winning its 4th IPA State Championship and placing third at WGI World Competition. Our winter guard won the State Championship! Wow!
