Zion Family Medical Expense Fund

On behalf of the Zion family, I would like to seek your support for Jim Zion.  Jim is a loving brother, son, and uncle to our family.  A short time ago, Jim was abruptly diagnosed with oligodendroglioma, an uncommon type of brain tumor (cancer) that begins in the glial cells of the brain or the spine. This particular type of brain tumor accounts for 9.4% of all adult brain and central nervous system tumors.  Currently, the cause of oligodendroglioma is unknown, and common treatment options include neurosurgery, chemotherapy, or radiation therapy.

The discovery of Jim's tumor and his corresponding diagnosis has resulted in a number of hospitalizations and surgical procedures.  Unfortunately, when discovered and to date, Jim did not have the medical insurance necessary to assist with the expenses.  Jim is a caring and resilient member of our family, and we would appreciate any contribution you would be willing to assist us with as we help him through this difficult process.  We would also like to request that you share this page with others so that we can try to receive as much support as possible.  You can make a valuable contribution and a real difference for our family by simply sharing this page with others and spreading the word.
