Zilahy family Harvey Relief

Hurricane Harvey devastated our neighborhood. It dumped 48" of water on our house. We evacuated on the 2nd day of the storm. Luckily we found a room at a hotel. With 4 healthy children this is where we now live in a one room hotel suite. While we try to navigate the beauracracy of FEMA and insurance, bills continue to add up. This is an attempt to be able to take care of my children, wife and pets. I am back at work now as is my wife. This leaves little time to deal with the organization's we need to during the day. Please help if you can. This will be money well spent on a family that was actually impacted. My house is gutted out and we are staying in a hotel. Again, I am back at work at my job. We aren't deadbeats. I just made this account to try and catch up and have some peace of mind while sleeping. Thank you for whatever you can give to help!

I am Peter Zilahy, father of four, husband, This house is in Brookside Village which is a neighborhood in Pearland TX that borders the city of Houston TX. These funds will go directly to covering and costs and repairs not covered by insurance and FEMA. Already we can see gaps in their "coverage" that we will have to pay for. Additionally there are needed repairs that we will do on the house and surrounding structures not covered by FEMA and insurance. Need a new roof, the upper parts of house not flooded, well house in back that's not covered, food as we stay in a hotel and have nowhere to cook. If enough is raised even to expansion of house to another bedroom so kids all have rooms of their own. Believe me the money will be spent here to improve our home and lives. I am not an organization. I am a man here in the heart of the impact zone of Harvey. The money you give is going to rebuilding and staying afloat after this hurricane. Thanks again
