Ziggy Cat - Please Help Save His Eyes

Ziggy had a rough start to life. He was only 2 days old when I took him in. He was abandoned in an alley and had nowhere to go..  So many people turned him away solely based on the color of his fur. He found his way to me through a friend and I instantly fell in love with him. He's my bottle baby and he taught me how to love. He's my bestfriend. We do everything together. Go on walks, car rides, sleeps on my chest at night and he has greatly improved my overall health and helped me over come my anxiety and insomnia. I often get told that "He is the most loving and the most loved cat" anyone has seen.  He truly is a sweet soul. He has turned dog lovers into cat lovers. 

Ziggy is now 11 years old and in need of an emergency tumor removal on his left eye.  Fortunately the tumor was caught in time and is non-cancerous.
His vision, for the most part is still intact but time is running out.
If the tumor does not get removed he will lose his eye within 6 months time as the tumor will keep growing in size.
The Doctor's plan is to remove the tumor via laser surgery then do reconstruction on his eye.(paperwork below).

All together the cost of care is about $7000. This includes doctor visits, consultations, biopsies, lab work, X-Rays, surgery, medications and follow ups. I have fronted the majority of the costs via credit card but am sadly $2500.00 short.  Once he gets the surgery he should be back to his normal happy and playful self!
