Bella is a 6 year old shepherd mix with lots of love to give. She was rescued moments before animal control tried to euthanize her. But that didn't discourage her! She is such a cheerful dog, no matter the circumstances. Within the past 5 years of Bella's life, she has helped foster and emotionally rehabilitate dozens of rescue animals. She has taught them how to trust humans again and showed them how to enjoy life. Despite having a ruptured cranial cruciate ligament, she keeps wagging her tail and smiling through it all. But she shouldn't have to. Bella needs a $2,000 surgery to stabilize her knee joint. Without your help, the bones in her leg will cause extreme arthritis and unbearable pain.
