CASH for Cash.   
Hi, I am Kim Harris's younger sister Toni Vigil (Harris). I would like to fundraise for Kim's horse Cash. About a year ago Cash started limping and showing pain in his front right foot. Thinking he just had a sprain he was put out to rest and improve.  Unfortunately he did not improve. Kim loaded him up and took him to UC Davis Equine Surgery and Lameness Service for assessment.  She was told that he is operable and could improve. Cash has a chronic fracture of the right front pastern. The good news is Cash is a good candidate for a surgical procedure to fuse the joint with a piece of steel. Afterward he could return to a usable level of soundness within a year. If nothing is done he may ultimately have to be put down. Being a true country girl, Kim would never ask for help financially. This surgery is not only extensive, it is EXPENSIVE!. The price range given to Kim for surgery was estimated between six thousand and up to ten thousand. I would like to set the goal for six thousand, and it would be all the better if the goal was met and even exceeded the amount I am asking everyone to donate toward.
Many, many people have been touched by my sister Kim's compassion for animals and people in need. She never thinks about herself and goes out of her way to do nice things for people in her community. She is always generous and loves to make people happy. She is always the defender of animals whether hers or a strangers.  
There is a more underlying reason that I want to meet the financial goal of six thousand dollars for Cash. The stress and torment of having to endure the possibility of losing her beloved animal if nothing is done will take a toll on her health. Cash need surgery - Let's get him the CASH for it.
