Friday night the Sons of Benches softball team received some terrible news. .........
Our beloved teammate, brother, and friend, Michael Hartman, was in a serious motorcycle accident March 26 in Washington. He is currently in intensive care at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington undergoing a pelvic surgery and has a long recovery ahead of him. He is still on the ventilator to help him breathe, being taken off for 45 minutes at a time to try and breathe on his own. He is in pretty bad shape with very little signs of improvement.
We just ask for everyone's hope for the best. His children, Tiffany, Michael, and Nicholas are with him now and are going to need our help to cover medical deductibles and expenses.
