Scrubs for our NHS staff on the frontline

Donation protected
Local NHS staff in South Gloucestershire, Gloucester, Cotswolds & Stroud need our help

We are a group of volunteers in the South West, who are raising money to make scrubs for our local NHS doctors. We are supporting NHS staff living locally and those working in these areas by working with Scrub Hub to round up volunteers to either donate to the cause or sew scrubs.

There is currently a huge shortage of scrubs due to more NHS workers wearing scrubs and having to change scrubs more often, and we are hoping that by setting up our own community garment making hub we can make a difference little by little for our local doctors.

Some NHS staff such as doctors and consultants don’t usually wear scrubs - but wearing scrubs is now the safest and easiest way for them to dress during this crisis.

We are working within the strict guidelines of the lockdown and the cost per uniform is £20. This covers:

- The cost of materials (fabric and elastic bands)
- The cost of transport and delivery

Please note that anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated!

In normal circumstances, NHS workers pay for their own extra pairs of scrubs but our goal is to raise enough money and donate them completely free of charge.

We are a network of local volunteers who are working as quickly as we can to get much-needed clothing to doctors.

Let's come together to help the people on the front line who are working 24/7 to keep up all safe.

More info about the scrubs shortage and our fundraiser:

There is currently a shortage in some areas and we are hoping that by setting up our own community garment making hubs we can make a difference little by little for our local doctors. The scrubs are made to order by experienced and professional volunteers, working safely (and rather magically) within the guidelines of the lockdown. Each hub asks for a donation per uniform when orders are placed to cover material and delivery.

Through this fund, we will be proudly donating to help support the NHS Practitioners' health service. They help care for and support the mental well-being of NHS workers, who are doing such an amazing and selfless job of looking after us all during this time.

Any money leftover at the end of this campaign will be donated directly to the NHS.
