Helping a Hero

On the morning of December 4th, Raheem Brooks, the LaGuardia Community College CUNY Fatherhood Academy Program Director, his lovely wife Cedony and beautiful daughter, Laaliya were affected by an apartment fire.  Thankfully all were saved.  Although Raheem suffered from smoke inhalation and spent the past week in the hospital, he is on the mend, beyond thankful and in great spirits.  Raheem is a true hero, but for those of us who know him, he has always been a hero. 

This gofundme page is designed to       assist the Brooks family as they work on rebuilding their lives.  Their apartment suffered severe smoke damage and the majority of what they owned was lost.  During this season of giving we want to do everything we can to support them and provide them with the peace of mind of not having to be concerned when it comes to replacing material things.
