My names Mike Chicoine and I live in a small town Massachusetts that sits right on the state line. My family and I have lived in the same house for 22 years and means the world to us.
As as of late our family has hit a really rough spot and we might lose our house that me and my sister grew up in, the one my parents bought as there first ever investment together.
My mother has gotten real sick lately and is admitted into the ICU in Milford Massachusetts, we tried to keep a lot of it on the down low but enough time has passed for us to speak upon it, while she was sick with both bone and breast cancer she ended up taking out a mortgage in a last ditch effort to try and pay for the medicine she needed to keep going not thinking how serious things could get. The rest of our family never knew for months upon months and until recently we didn’t know we’d lose the house we lived in. The loan office has already foreclosed on the house but we can try and pay off the loan and sum to prove that we can cover for it and that we need this one thing that helps keep our family whole.
Its my mom and Dad rock and I can’t let them lose it especially in the situation they are in. A dollar can go a long way and a share can definitely make a big difference we have a month to come up with something before we could potentially lose it.
*As of 9/13* my mom has taken a turn towards the end of the road. The time she is here with us she wants to go back to the home she raised both me and my sister in but she might not get that chance.
