Zeus' life saving medical fund

Hi, my name is Ana. Last week I got a text from my 15 year old niece about a dog that had been roaming the streets in her neighborhood in Stockton. This dog ended up sleeping on her doorstep and she knew that she had to help him. Kimberly lives with my parents, my sister, her brother, two senior dogs and a puppy. She knew they couldn't take one more but couldn't let him in the street; he was in a very rough shape, malnourished, with blisters on his paw pads that were coming off, flea infested and with a broken rib bone sticking out. My parents agreed for her to foster as long as I support and help her find rescue or forever home for Zeus.

That night he threw up lots of grass and red mulch. We think that out of hunger he ate those things. We knew he needed to see a vet ASAP so after calling many animal hospitals my niece was fortunate to schedule an appointment for today. We did not expect such bad knews: Zeus heart is not in good shape, his joints are not good either. In order for Zeus to be diagnosed and properly treated, he needs an echocardiogram that we can't afford, he also needs blood work. At 16 months sweet Zeus knows what hell is, his body is proof and the broken rib speaks for the abuse he has endured. He might not have a long time left that for we need to find out so he can be properly treated and make him comfortable for as long as he hangs on.

He needs a forever loving home that can provide all the care and love he needs. We have not heard from any rescues but leaving him in a shelter is not option.

We need the support from our amazing community for Zeus to have nice life, to know what to be loved is for whatever time he migh have.
