Help Felix Get Top Surgery!!!

Hi everyone!! I'm Felix, a nonbinary trans man, my pronouns are they/he. I'm a stay at home parent to a very wild and fun five year old who has been doing online kindergarten with me, and a freelance artist/small shop owner. I've been out for almost four years now and began my social and medical transition journey nearly a year ago. I am basically the happiest i have ever been in my entire life, and I am so grateful for the support and love from my incredible partner and friends.

My whole life I have felt uncomfortable with my chest, which was exacerbated by pregnancy, and in the years leading up to me coming out, I realized that this all stemmed from the dysphoria that I had been ignoring. Once I opened that floodgate, there was no turning back. I can't bind regularly, and this has started to greatly affect my mood and self image.

Long story short, I am running this to help me pay for my top surgery with my preferred surgeon, recommended by my amazing LGBTQ clinic. Insurance covers many things, which I am grateful for, but it won't cover this.

As of right now I am scheduling a consultation in May, and have been advised that the next available surgery date will be in October. I am using the price list on the surgeon's website to estimate the amount I will need, but I will update this page if that amount changes/when I have more information on the price breakdown. We should be able to cover travel expenses on our own, so everything from this will go straight to surgery and recovery costs.
