Zemph's Funeral Expenses & Memorial

Donation protected
As has been shared earlier on Facebook it is with great sadness that we share that, Zemph Sapanski, passed away on November 19, 2017. The family is shocked and heartbroken to have lost him so unexpectedly.  He was deeply loved by many as evidenced by the outpouring through Facebook.

The family has welcomed the memories and stories of Zemph shared by family and friends and reflect on how deeply he impacted us all. Anybody that knew Zemph is well-aware of his tremendous musical talent. Besides his daughters, Justine and Aracoma, and his grandchildren, Zemph's greatest joy came when he played music with his friends and he delighted any audience privileged enough to hear him play.

Zemph was considered the local master when it came to piano tuning and repair. He spent many years tuning and expertly refurbishing pianos for local clients and was entrusted with preparing the pianos for many great artists performing at the local theaters, Christmas parties and volunteering to tune pianos and play impromptu concerts at local senior care centers.

Zemph was a great conversationalist.  A quick trip to the store could turn into a several hour long event as he would invariably run into people he knew everywhere he ventured, and he always stopped and talked to the folks he knew and strangers, alike. Please share this post so that it is widely distributed throughout the community.

Throughout his perseverance with bouts of cancer, strokes, and many other difficult challenges, Zemph's friends were always by his side. He faced those challenges with great courage and survived against the odds by sharing stories and reminiscing on his many life experiences with his friends.

The family appreciates any assistance that can be provided during this time of need. Donations will cover cremation costs, settling Zemph's estate, and funding a HUGE future celebration of life party full of musicians, family and friends.

We will post updates to this page and plans for the celebration of life party.

If you wish to contribute you can do it

1.    through this GoFundMe page or

2.    by making a donation at any local City National Bank location referencing "Walter Zemph Sapanski Fund" or

3.    by contacting Aracoma/Justine individually.

Zemph loved his new grandkids, Logan, Kendal and Byram, more than anything else and they brightened his mood anytime they were around him.

We all miss you greatly, Zemph, and hope that you know just how much you were loved by us and so many others.
