Zella’s fight - help her beat cancer

Dear Family and Friends,


On Thursday, October  8th our dearest friend Marizela (Zella) Jupic received some devastating news regarding her health. Zella had some ongoing digestive issues and struggled to keep up with her daily routine and unfortunately was diagnosed with a stage 4 Colon Cancer. As you can imagine, her family and friends are absolutely devastated, afraid and overwhelmed with this news.  Zella has undergone her emergency surgery on October 12 and is still recovering with chemo therapy as her next steps.  Zella and her family are terrified, what the future holds but is in positive spirits and will fight through this.Zella is a great mother, wife, sister, daughter, and a friend who has worked really hard for her family. She started her own business earlier this year and had big plans ahead of her. Anyone who knows Zella, knows that she is the most genuine person to be around. You could never see her without a smile and with this unexpected news, her normal life has been put on hold.


The road to recovery is long and the financial strain is overwhelming.  Zella is currently taking unpaid time off with being self-employed and her main focus is to get better to be able to enjoy her 2 small children and time spent with family.  Many of you have reached out and asked how you can help and right now most helpful thing would be for them to focus on Marizela and not worry about financial burden. This money will go directly to the family for their medical bills and any other related expenses.  We want to thank everyone who has taken time to read this.
