ATTENTION ALL CROSSFIT SEVEN CITIES MEMBERS, FRIENDS, AND FAMILY.
Coach Richard is asking for your participation. His cousin’s 2 year old son Ezekiel Cabigon was diagnosed with a rare form of liver cancer two months ago. Chemo has been going well, and he is now getting ready to head to Pittsburgh to start the process for a liver transplant. Piercing Crossfit took Coach Richard’s cousin David in a few months prior to finding out about his son’s cancer, and with the little time they had to get to know his cousin they rallied behind him during this time of need and put together a successful fundraiser. Because of the success they had, Coach Richard and I have decided to show David how strong this Crossfit community really is.
David has recently transitioned out of the Navy where he served as a sub STS on the USS Dallas and USS San Francisco. His wife is currently doing what most mothers would do, spending her time at the hospital with her son, so David is providing for them working a full time job, while trying to balance family time, work, and fitness.
Ezekiel Cabigon turned 2 this past Saturday. We would like to not only send proceeds from the shirts to help get a birthday present for the little guy but possibly help fund some of their travels to Pittsburgh from Ohio, as well as a picture from our family to his to let him know his family is in our thoughts and prayers.
With all that being said please come join us on April 21st at 0900 to have some fun and enjoy the community.

*Each team will be required to hold 1 plate overhead for the duration of the workout. No work can be completed if the plate is not over at least one teammate’s head.

This is a fundraising workout! Shirt signups will be on the desk. Shirts will be 20$, with 100% of proceeds going to David and his family for whatever they need during this time. Thank you guys and we hope to see you there.
