The night of Thursday May 11th, Josh assumed he was getting an allergic reaction to cleaning the carpets. His symptoms got worse, and eventually he was admitted to the hospital. Over the course of several tests, he finally got a diagnosis. Carcinoid Syndrome. A super rare condition that causes tumors to grow inside his body.Basically, Josh will start to get a rash, get heated and feverish. Within seconds he will start to cough and choke to get air, it gets really scary. And these episodes happen several times a day. Usually 5-8 a day. Sometimes more.Our lives have been put on hold all because of this. We're trying to figure this all out, and even with good insurance, the bills keep piling up. We absolutely wouldn't do this if we didn't think it was needed! If you know Josh, you know he's a fighter. He's not going to give up. He will beat this and Josh will have one awesome story to tell!! Let the zebra fight begin!!
