The Greengard Center for Autism is a non-profit organization in Portsmouth, NH.  We provide high-quality services to adolescents and adults with autism, along the spectrum. Greengard was founded in 2011 by UNH Professor Barbara Frankel, Ph.D., founder of The Birchtree Center and the Director of UNH’s Marriage and Family Program.  Greengard utilizes an ABA model, informed by a family centered approach. Our mission is to provide unique lifelong opportunities for individuals with ASD to have a productive quality of life.  To that end, Greengard offers community-based Day Programs for adults with high support needs; Social skills/Activity Groups for adolescents and adults with moderate/low support needs; Outreach (home programs, assessments, evaluations and professional training); and ABA Services through schools and community agencies for children and adolescents.
