Candy Stevens Service Dog To Live

Donation protected
Candy is a single mother to a 17 yr old daughter and was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis 5 years ago. The life span is normally 4-7 years after diagnosis. Candy sleeps hooked up to machines but they sometimes become dislodged, When that happens, she begins to choke as her organs begin to shut down. She desperately needs a service dog to alert her when this happens.   Candy had been using her Shih Tzu Lily whom she had trained but unfortunately Lily has become too old to walk up the ramp to her bed to alert her when she struggles to breathe.  Lily had saved Candy's life on numerous occasions.  Candy has worked for 35 years in the commercial radio industry at such stations as KLCK, KRAK, KFIR, KWG/B101, KJOY and KAT Country. Without the help of a service dog she risks not being aware and not waking up. If you could find it in your heart to donate what you can, you will be helping Candy survive longer. Her goal is to see her daughter off to college. The cost of a service dog with the proper training is about 7,000.00 plus travel and training expenses.  Thank you so much for anything that you can donate.  No amount is too small.....ever.  Life is precious.
