Deepu Mehmi’s funeral and family support
My name is Mandip and I am organizing a fundraiser for my best friend Deepu Mehmi.
Chander Kant Mehmi known as Deepu has left us all tragically due to a heart attack at the age of 29. We are all in complete shock struggling to cope with this situation.
Deepu was full of life and joy. There was never a dull moment with him around. He treated everyone with outmost respect and always tried to help out anyone he could.
He has left behind his wife, Anita Rani, 3 year old daughter (Harnoor) and a baby on the way due in December. Deepus brother, mom and dad are back home in India and have not seen Deepu since he left India 10 years ago. We can not imagine what they might be going through at this time.
Family and friends are really devastated with this tragic loss. We would like to raise funds for his family.
Funds will be used to bring Deepu’s, parents and brother from India. We are currently at the final steps and hoping they can reach Canada by September 10th. The remaining funds will be used for funeral arrangements. Rest will be given to the family.
