Final arrangements for William J Kappes; husband of Mary Lou, father of Heather & William R, grandfather of Jacob.
Heathers dad was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in June of 2016 and after a brutal 10 month fight he has been placed in hospice care. The doctors aren't sure just how many hours/days/weeks he has left but they are certain it's only a short matter of time. William has always been the kind of man to lend a hand to anyone in need and led a very modest life. If you grew up or lived in any area of Roxbury you very well could have had your car painted or worked on by William; most times for a handshake and a thank you. Regrettably there is no life insurance for his final arrangements. His wife and children are devastated at the thought of not being able to prepare a respectful service for him. In December his wife had congestive heart failure and in February a stroke. His daughter has barely recovered from the financial burden of her sons recent broken hip.
