Help and support kevin

Hi, my name is Jennifer Cortes, and I am the girlfriend of Kevin Murillo. On Saturday April 1, 2023, at 11:30 am, my boyfriend and I were headed to grab breakfast right across the boulevard from our home. When we were crossing the street, a reckless driver struck him at a high rate of speed and then fled the scene. Upon impact, Kevin flew 50ft away and damaged sustained life threatening injuries to include a bruised right kidney, fractured scapula, fractured lumbar (piece of his spine), torn ligament in his shoulder, and severe road rash across his entire body. He received 2 emergency surgeries after doctors discovered internal bleeding, which resulted in the removal of part of his large intestine. It’s been 8 days and we continue to be in the hospital praying he gets better and that they can help him return to full strength. Unfortunately, we don’t have enough money to pay for the medical bills or physical therapy. Kevin had just recently started a new job and was optimistic for the future. This is the reason this GoFundme was created. Anyone that is lucky enough to know Kevin knows that he is an amazing human being! He is that one person that can walk into any room and make anyone’s day! His laughter is contagious along with his amazing smile and beautiful character. He is truly special! He has a enormous heart and is always willing to go above and beyond for anyone. Kevin is only 24 years old and has a great future ahead of him!
