Hey everyone!  I'd like to introduce you to my beautiful, unbelievably sweet, funny as a rubber crutch and as nice as they come niece, Sallie Kate Mabrey.  Say hi Sallie!!

Sallie is 6 years old and has 2 sisters, Charlotte and Ellie, and a baby brother, Webster.  As you can see they are literally the sweetest bunch of kids you've ever seen.

Sallie loves being a big sister and running around and playing with her little sisters (Web isn't quite big enough to hang with the girls just yet) and truly is the absolute biggest joy to be around.

Unfortunately, Sallie hasn't been running around these past few days.  On Friday, January 5th 2018, LITERALLY the day after this sweet little girls 6th birthday, she was rushed to the ER where they found a brain tumor.  A stupid, stupid, why the @#!% do you have to be there brain tumor.  As can be expected our entire family, none more so than her parents, were absolutely and unequivocally destroyed at hearing this.  How could anyone possibly be prepared for that kind of news??

Thankfully God is always here for us in times of need like this.  By the Grace of God Himself, my brother and his wife found themselves at the East Tennessee Children's Hospital in Knoxville, TN.  The staff there was amazing in their diagnosis and swift action to get Sallie the best care possible.  She underwent an almost 12 hour surgery where the doctors were able to remove all of the tumor!!

Unfortunately, the surgery along with anesthesia, ICU stay time, follow up neurological testing, mobility testing, cognitive recognition testing, etc etc etc........tend to rack up certain costs.  A lot of costs to be honest, and not all of these costs can be covered completely no matter what insurance you may have.

And so, friends, family, and strangers alike, this is why I have come to you today in asking for help.  I am coming to you, everyone that reads this, with hat in hand, asking for donations to help my brother and his wife offset the costs that insurance won't cover.  Costs that they don't need be worrying about at a time like this so that they can instead focus on doing anything and everything to bring Sallie home as quickly as possible and in the perfect condition she was in before this bullshit tumor ever happened in the first place.

I don't care how much your donation is.  $1.  $5.  $50.  $100.  Heck donate a $1,000 if you're feeling extra generous.  Any amount is welcome and will help.  To be completely honest my hope and dream is to blow right past this $5,000 goal so that I know for a fact should Sallie ever need anything, now or in the future, she's got it.  So please, please help me reach my goal and help get Sallie home again.
